The Classic Sneaker Fashion Girls Are Wearing with EVERYTHING

If you’ve been paying close attention to the trends the past seasons, you’d notice that sneakers are never not included. There’s always some sort of sneaker that’s present within a season, and what changes is the variation it’s famous for. Stan Smiths have dominated a good part of 2015 while Yeezys were the shoes to cop in 2016. But this year, fashion girls are wearing a classic: Vans’ Old Skool Sneakers.
The skater shoe is an accessory that will easily tone down any outfit from chic to casual chic. It’s perfect for when you want to wear your new slip dress, even if it’s just to the grocery. It comes in many colors (there’s even a pair featuring Vans’ well-known checkerboard print), but the most-loved is clearly the low-cut black-and-white pair. You can’t go wrong with black and white, more so when it’s in the form of a classic piece.
How this shoe found its way into the fashion world we’re not quite sure of, but we do know one thing: it’s here to stay. From a sports jacket and jeans to girly floral dresses, see how these fashion girls are wearing their Vans Old Skools with everything. And we mean everything.

DIY LACE CHOKER ~ FALL FASHION TRENDS // VICTORIAN DETAILS

diy black lace choker
Next up in my DIY Hacks: 2015 Fall Fashion Trends series Victorian Accents ~ Easy DIY Lace Choker.
This is a SUPER SIMPLE DIY, as many chokers are, but packs a big punch based mostly on the clasp, technically called a Traditional Chinese qipao clothing button, which finishes it with a pretty elegance. The thick lace, however, adds to the Victorian element without being completely over the top or costume-y, and I love it. It’s a design I made a billion times in the ’90s because you can basically make it in any color or size combo you like in just minutes and for under $10 {maybe even under $5}.

Inspo: Neo-Victorian

Alexander McQueen Lace Choker
Be it an elegant high-neck ruffled collar or the melancholy elegance of black lace, a Victorian mood pervaded the runways. Designers like Riccardo Tisci placed the energy of the era in a thoroughly modern milieu, and his new collection for Givenchy was a nod to the style of singer FKA twigs and Californian street culture as much as it was to the nineteenth-century queen. Similarly, Altuzarra’s slit dresses and Valentino’s floor-sweeping lace looks were a forward-thinking take on red-carpet dressing. Shown here, Alexander McQueen.

This Is How Fashion Girls Are Styling Their Basic White Tee

If you’re still stuck believing that basic is uninteresting, count on fashion bloggers to convince you otherwise. We’ve been eyeing a lot of style influencers going back to the basics by sporting the typically unappealing tees. But in standard trendsetting fashion, these style mavens opted to improvise with a fresher way to style their basic white t-shirts: by putting the front portion into a knot, thereby converting the former humdrum basic tee into a more flattering cropped top. We have to say, it’s a genius hack to spice up a plain old shirt. Let these fashion girls show you a new way to style your basic white tee so you can try it out for yourself:

The reason Korea is deemed such a trendy place is because it’s where all the trendsetters are. For years now, Korean street style has become the ultimate peg for many people, inspiring with both its seeming complexity yet absolute ease.
